My connection to lake life isn’t theoretical.

I’ve been living the lake life since 1994. I understand not only the market dynamics, but the rhythm, relationships, and long-term impact these communities can have on a family.

My children grew up at Carefree Resort, experiencing a childhood very similar to my own where they could ride their bikes freely, build friendships across generations, and move about safely within a close-knit community.

That sense of belonging and ease still exists today in many recreation communities across Central Alberta. Over time, I’ve come to think of my role simply as helping people find their next happy place.
